Uhrichsville, OH—Barbour Publishing, Inc is pleased to announce the hiring of Eric Weisgarber as the Assistant National Accounts Manager in May 2010. As part of the company’s sales staff, Weisgarber will focus on account management and acquisitions within mass market accounts like Walmart, Sam’s Club, and Costco.

“Eric brings a lot of energy and enthusiasm to this new position, which I believe will translate to his ultimate success,” said Bill Westfall, Vice President of Sales at Barbour. “This position was created to enable Barbour to work more closely with our key mass market accounts but it will also be a benefit to other accounts as well. Since accounts will be more evenly distributed among our sales reps, we will be able to work more closely with customers to develop successful promotional and merchandising plans.”

At Barbour, Weisgarber will train directly under Westfall. Once training is complete, Weisgarber will become National Accounts Manager. After graduating from Miami University in 2007 with an education degree in Integrated Social Studies, Weisgarber previously worked in Europe for the last three years where he directed an international summer camp in the Alps in the village of Leysin, Switzerland for three summers, owned and operated a historical tour company in Prague, Czech Republic, and moved to Florence, Italy where he was a Lead Guide for Bus2alps, Europe’s premier student travel company.

“Everyone at Barbour has been more than welcoming,” said Weisgarber. “It really is a friendly environment, and I look forward to building on the already established success of Barbour Publishing.”

Barbour Publishing would like to welcome Eric Weisgarber as an employee and looks forward to the addition of a National Accounts Manager.
