Chad Robichaux and Jeremy Stalnecker to share their message of hope and healing
in the face of combat trauma.
Robichaux, Stalnecker and Serving California work to reverse the staggering trends
of suicide and divorce with active military and veterans
Los Angeles, CA – Over the Memorial Day holiday, Chad Robichaux, founder of Mighty Oaks Warrior Programs and Jeremy Stalnecker, Director of Veterans Affairs, will be traveling to the Washington D.C. area to share their message of hope and healing, as well as discuss their groundbreaking program that boasts incredible success in the treatment of PTSD and combat trauma.
Mighty Oaks Warrior Programs operates on a standing commitment to aid those suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, with a specific calling to assist the harsh challenge facing America’s active duty service members, veterans and their families. A faith-based, drug-free, peer-to-peer program, Mighty Oaks reaches out to communities across the nation and communicates directly with the United States Armed Forces to ensure that our brave servicemen receive the opportunity to participate in their Fight Club, family camps, marriage retreats and vocational programs. The Fight Club program has been in operation for three years and proudly states that not one of their Alumni has succumbed to the horrific national veteran suicide statistic of 23 per day.
Mighty Oaks is an official program of Serving California, a foundation committed to the possibility that we can build a community of empathy for those who are struggling and provide them with needed resources to transcend their current situations. Their programs place a special emphasis on ex-offenders, crime victims and veterans and their families.
On Saturday May 23, Chad will be the featured speaker at “Beast Mode Men’s Event”. Held at Life Church in Manassas, VA, Chad will be sharing his personal testimony and opening up the discussion on the principles of Biblical Manhood. Chad served eight tours of duty in Afghanistan as a decorated US Special Operations Force Recon Marine. After returning home, he and his family struggled for years, recovering from his own battle with PTSD. Since his recovery, Chad has earned his PhD and MBA from New York Tech and is a Board Certified Pastoral Counselor with a specialty in the treatment of PTSD. A World Champion MMA Fighter and best-selling author, Chad now uses his influence to help give hope and healing to warriors and their families struggling with PTSD.
On Saturday evening, May 23, and Sunday morning, May 24, Chad will be speaking at all services at Life Church in Manassas, VA, and Jeremy Stalnecker will be speaking at the Life Church campus in Winchester, VA. Sunday evening, both Veterans will continue sharing their message at “Citywide,” an outreach of McLean Bible Church.
Jeremy Stalnecker faced a different sort of battle after returning from combat. In 2003, Jeremy served in the First Marine Division, the infantry division that breeched the berm separating Kuwait and Iraq in the onset of Operation Iraqi Freedom. This lead to the battalion occupying Baghdad, followed by the seizure of the presidential palace in northern Baghdad. Upon returning home, Jeremy’s began serving as an assistant pastor, and soon realized his personal struggle with re-integration: purpose. Realizing he had the same issue as many of his comrades, Jeremy began focusing his ministry to help veterans re-discover their purpose as a Man of God. After serving seven years as a pastor, Jeremy is now serving full time with Mighty Oaks.
