Del Mar, California – 24/5/2010 – Family counselors and best-selling authors, Dr. David and Lisa Frisbie, will be featured at ICRS 2010 in St. Louis, Missouri as they introduce "THE SOUL-MATE MARRIAGE: The Spiritual Journey of Becoming One." This new book, released by Harvest House Publishers of Eugene, Oregon, has already been recommended by Focus on the Family and many of today’s leading marriage experts and ministry leaders.  

Dr. and Mrs. Frisbie are Executive Directors of The Center for Marriage and Family Studies in Del Mar, California. They are the authors of ten books and dozens of articles about marriage, parenting, and family topics. Since the mid-1980’s they have been widely known as "America’s Remarriage Experts" due to their ground-breaking work with divorced adults, remarried couples, and stepfamilies.  

In constant demand as speakers and consultants, the Frisbies have traveled to all 50 United States, 9 provinces and 2 territories of Canada, and more than 40 world nations, training family counselors and conducting retreats, seminars and workshops.   Dr. David Frisbie teaches courses in Family Studies at Southern Nazarene University and is an adjunct professor at Point Loma Nazarene University. In addition, Dr. and Mrs. Frisbie jointly serve as Coordinators of Marriage and Family Life Ministry for the global Nazarene denomination.  

Married for 32 years, they make their home in San Diego. They are members of the San Diego Christian Writers Guild, on whose faculty they serve each year at the Fall Conference. Dr. David Frisbie serves as a book judge, Christian Living category, for the Evangelical Christian Publishers Association.  

Dr. and Mrs. Frisbie are veterans of local and national television, radio, print and internet broadcast media. They will be available to media outlets on Tuesday, June 29 and on Wednesday, June 30.
