Oasis Audio won the 2010 Audie Award in the Biography/Memoir category for its critically-acclaimed title Anne Frank Remembered by Miep Gies and Leslie Gold, narrated by Barbara Rosenblat. The Audio Publishers Association presented the Audie during its annual award gala on Tuesday, May 25, 2010 at the Museum of the City of New York. "Of the thousands of audiobooks published each year, it is an honor to see this particular one receive an Audie because it is an extraordinary story and an important piece of history," said Dan Balow, publisher. "We were also fortunate to have one of the top readers in the audio market, Barbara Rosenblat, narrate this title and she did a tremendous job." Anne Frank Remembered , which shares Gies’ story of helping hide the Frank family from the Nazi’s, was also a finalist in the main Non-Fiction category. It received an Earphones Award from AudioFile magazine, a starred review in Booklist, and was named one of 2009’s best audios by Library Journal magazine. In addition to Anne Frank Remembered, Oasis had six other finalists in six categories.
