Lake Mary, Florida—Strang Book Group and Big Idea Entertainment recently announced a strategic partnership to promote an upcoming book by New York Times best-selling author and physician Don Colbert with the release of the VeggieTales series of DVDs in the “Veggies Are Good for You” promotion. The partnership, which includes a major CBA and ABA cross-promotional campaign, will consist of point of purchase displays, advertising, publicity, and other marketing efforts highlighting the DVD series and Dr. Colbert’s book, Eat This and Live! for Kids.


With the book and DVD series slated for simultaneous release in Fall 2010, the partnership is the first ever between the organizations and will also include promotion in several grocery store chains. 


Best known for the Bible Cure series—which has sold more than three million copies—Colbert is the author of two New York Times best-selling books, Dr. Colbert’s “I Can Do This” Diet and The Seven Pillars of Health, as well as CBA best sellers, including Toxic Relief, Living in Divine Health, and Eat This and Live!
