Christian Small Publisher Association (CSPA) will host their third annual seminar for publishers, or anyone interested in becoming a publisher, at the International Christian Retail Show (ICRS) in St. Louis this summer.
Publishers’ Institute: Embracing the Next Decade will be held on Monday, June 28, 2010, from 6:30pm to 8:30pm in Room 266 of the America’s Convention Center.
Attendees will learn tips for success in publishing and marketing from experienced professionals in Christian publishing. Topics to be presented include:
- A Legal Look at Publishing Rights Issues
Presenter: Brian Flagler, Principal, Flagler Law Group LLC
- Getting the Word Out: Promoting Your Book Before It’s Printed
Presenter: Darren Henry, Vice President of Advocate Distribution Solutions , STL Distribution
- Creating a Successful Social Media Strategy
Presenter: Sarah Bolme, Director, Christian Small Publishers Association

CSPA was established in 2004 to represent and promote small publishers in the Christian marketplace. Representing over 80 small publishers producing materials for the Christian marketplace, CSPA is the sponsor of Christian Small Publisher Book of the Year Award and is a supplier member of CBA.
