GRAND RAPIDS, MI – (May 3, 2010) Editorial Portavoz is pleased to announce its continuing partnership with Moody Publishers in the print and digital versions in Spanish of the well-known MacArthur New Testament Commentary series by John MacArthur.
Editorial Portavoz plans to publish Spanish language print and digital editions of all of the commentaries currently available in English as well as future volumes, published by Moody Publishers, to complete the entire New Testament series. This June Editorial Portavoz will release three print volumes of the series, now in a newly designed format that will combine some previously published volumes. The first three to be made available will be Romanos 1-16 (Romans 1-16), Apocalipsis 1-22, (Revelation 1-22) and Gálatas y Efesios (Galatians and Ephesians). Subsequent print volumes will be released in Spanish over the next six years, with 14 volumes total planned for publication by 2016. A release date for the digital versions has not yet been set.
“The MacArthur New Testament Commentary series is the gold standard of Bible commentaries, plain and simple. Not since John Calvin labored in Geneva has one pastor stood in one pulpit and produced one body of divinity such as this. Exegetical, expository, doctrinal, homeletical, hermeneutical, insightful, pastoral, practical—each is present in this set. If you were to confine me to a room, in preparation for a sermon, with only an open Bible and one reference tool, this is it—the MacArthur New Testament Commentary, a peerless treasury of exposition. Never again in this generation will we see a work of this magnitude produced by one man.”
—Dr. Steven J. Lawson,
Senior Pastor, Christ Fellowship Baptist Church, Mobile, AL
