We contacted Subsplash to create a truly groundbreaking mobile Bible experience. We are pleased to launch the ESV Bible app for the iPhone. After installing the app, users will not need an Internet connection (be it 3G, Edge or WiFi) to access the Bible. This will serve iPod Touch users, commuters, business travelers, and those with limited coverage or Internet access."
