COLORADO SPRINGS—The Christian Writers Guild’s Writing for the Soul Conference is nearly doubling its instruction time this year, offering attendees more than 70 classes in four tracks: Promotion & Marketing, Fiction, Nonfiction, and Craft & Career.
The conference will be held February 13-16, 2014 at the five-star Broadmoor Hotel in Colorado Springs.
In addition to 48 writing classes, the new Promotion & Marketing track will feature 25 classes taught by creative marketing experts on topics ranging from blogging to turning fans into brand evangelists and from dealing with the media to launching a book.
Taught by some of the top-selling authors in Christian publishing (James Scott Bell, Brandilyn Collins, Angela Hunt, host Jerry B. Jenkins, and many others), this year’s Fiction, Nonfiction, and Craft & Career classes will offer attendees in-depth guidance.
Keynote speakers include Christy Award winner Angela Hunt, novelist and Writer’s Digest columnist James Scott Bell, bestselling novelist Brandilyn Collins, author and Taylor University professional writing director Dennis E. Hensley, author and international evangelist Sammy Tippit, and former Disney Imagineer and motivational speaker McNair Wilson.
“This is one conference you can’t afford to miss,” says host and New York Times bestselling author Jenkins. “With so many classes offered in four tracks, it’s like attending four conferences in one.”
