Milwaukee’s event that was hosted by Rainy Day Books saw record number of sales with nearly 10,000 books sold. Military bases sold over 5,000 books and had over 8,000 people braving the lines on Veterans Day to meet Uncle Si. Fairhope closed out the tour, with over 5,000 fans standing in a downpour of rain to meet members of the family. In total, nearly 15,000 troops and their families came out to meet Uncle Si in addition to nearly 20,000 people coming out to meet family members throughout the duration of the tour.

"Thanks to a great collaboration with dedicated partners, we created a once in a lifetime event for the audience. This was the biggest event we’ve ever done, both in terms of audience size and number of books sold. It reminds us all of the power of bringing books and people together, and the importance of the relationship between independent booksellers and publishers. Together, we do amazing things."

Geoffrey Jennings, Rainy Day Books, Inc.

Record signing time was recorded at Fort Lewis Military base, where 2,640 people received an autograph from Si Robertson during a 4 hour time frame.

Uncle Si exceeded all expectations and it is always awesome to see people like him "walk the talk" and actually visit the troops/families.”

Patrick McGhee, General Manager, Joint Base Lewis-McChord

Howard Books is scheduled to release additional books from the Robertson’s in 2014 including a book from Jase Robertson, a book from the ladies behind the beards, and the much-anticipated second book from family patriarch Phil Robertson.
