(Nashville, TN) – Abingdon Press is pleased to announce the signing of author Ben Stroup to their ever growing Christian Living division. The book, currently titled The Outlaw, the Magician, and the Hero, is slated for a February 2015 release. It will focus on allowing readers to learn valuable lessons by awakening key behaviors and inclinations within them so that they can move from managing transitional chaos to fully living the life that was deeply implanted within them by God at the moment of creation.

"I’m excited about working with Abingdon Press because of the people," stated Stroup. "They have a long-standing commitment to developing authors and books, and expressed the same level of enthusiasm I have for this project and the people I want to reach. I feel like I’m entering a partnership that has the potential to become a long-term, mutually beneficial relationship."

"I’m thrilled to have Abingdon Press partnering with us on this project because of their commitment to publishing thoughtful, challenging books that reach beyond the evangelical world to Christ followers of all kinds–and even to those outside the faith who are seeking answers to questions of spirituality," added literary agent Kyle L. Olund of KLO Publishing Services, LLC.

"Through Ben’s fresh approach we believe readers will better understand who they are in God’s great story," noted Pamela Clements, the Associate Publisher of Christian Living at Abingdon Press. "We are pleased be publishing his book as we feel confident that it will touch hearts and change lives for the better."
