Grand Rapids, Mich. (March 10, 2010)— Baker Publishing Group received the 2009 Publisher of the Year “Theologos Award” from the Association of Theological Booksellers (ATB). This is the second year in a row that Baker Publishing Group was awarded Publisher of the Year. “We at Baker Academic and Brazos Press consider ATB stores to be vital links in theological publishing chain,” said Jim Kinney, Editorial Director of Baker Academic and Brazos Press. “We are delighted, therefore, to receive this honor from them in recognition of the fine books we released in 2009. We in turn pass the honor along to the authors we are privileged to partner with.”

The ATB is a cooperative organization of more than five hundred North American seminary and divinity school bookstores and theological publishers, working together to enhance the quality and secure the future of theological bookselling.
