INDIAN ROCKS BEACH, Fla.—The Munce Group is pleased to announce their partnership with the Christian Authors Network (CAN), a vibrant marketing co-op of over 100 published Christian authors whose goal is to educate authors and promote their books.

After CAN’s participation at a sponsored breakfast for Christian Product Expo (CPE) in January, the Munce Group began exploring opportunities to benefit both CAN and its authors and the Munce Group member stores and their consumers. Since then, the Munce Group has developed multiple projects with CAN to impact as many lives as possible with Christian materials and drive traffic into independent Christian stores.

“We were encouraged by the CAN organization,” said Kirk Blank, Munce Group President. “Their desire to sell more books through the independent retail channel is inspiring. In a time when independent Christian retailers are looking for ways to increase customer traffic and retail sales, this partnership came at just the right time. The Munce Group provides the best opportunity for CAN and its authors to increase awareness and sales through independent Christian retailers. We believe the partnership with the authors associated with CAN will positively impact sales for the Munce Group stores.”

These projects, which are exclusive to the Munce Group, include online retail training, author awareness and monthly contributions to MTL magazine, an online magazine for women that directs readers to Munce Group member stores.

The Munce Group has a very active business-to-business site that provides training, helpful information for best business practices, as well as vendor and product information. Member stores who log on to retailer.munce.com can benefit from retail training by CAN professionals on social media marketing, in-store/book signing appearances and the daily task of selling books.

The Munce Group is also helping to increase CAN author awareness through in-store event requests, author spotlights and author testimonies on the importance of shopping at the local Christian bookstore.

Each month, CAN authors are encouraged to post the Munce Group member stores’ electronic catalogs and a link to MTL magazine on their websites. This will bring more awareness and sales to retailers. In addition, authors are invited to contribute articles, interviews, blogs and even contests for the various columns on MTL magazine.
