[Grand Rapids, Mich., May 25, 2012]—Zondervan, the exclusive publisher of the NIrV in North America, has announced that they have obtained the rights from worldwide publisher, Biblica, to also distribute the New International Reader’s Version (NIrV), American text edition, in the UK. The NIrV is a simplification of the New International Version (NIV), developed to enable early readers to understand God’s message. The products will be distributed in the UK by Authentic Media.
“Zondervan is pleased to partner with Biblica and Authentic Media to further expand the NIrV product line in the UK,” says Verne Kenney, Zondervan Executive Vice President. “The NIrV is an important Bible translation and we hope that by expanding the distribution, we will reach even more early readers and those learning English for the first time with the Word of God.”
