The Creation Festival was established in 1979 out of a desire to create a festival unlike any that had come before it. Since that time, the festival has seen unparalleled growth to become the world’s largest annual Christian festival.

Over the past 30 years, the festival has featured a virtual who’s-who of Christian musicians including Christian music’s founding fathers – Phil Keaggy, Randy Stonehill, and Keith Green. From the Creation stage, platinum selling artists such as Switchfoot, P.O.D., Amy Grant, Jars of Clay, Pillar and others have launched careers that would take Christian music to new heights. The festival continues to draw top Christian artists each year as well as world-renowned teachers including Josh McDowell, Josh Harris, Larry Tomczak, Chuck Smith, Miles McPherson and Frank Peretti.

What humbly began as a gathering of 5,000 believers has evolved into two events on separate coasts, drawing over 100,000 attendees each year between their two events.

CREATION EAST is held every June at the festival’s “home”, The Agape Farm in Pennsylvania, while its younger sibling, CREATION WEST is held every July since 1997 at the beautiful Gorge Amphitheater in Washington State. Both locations feature a variety of speakers, the hottest artists in Christian music, today’s top Praise and Worship leaders and a number of cutting edge artists. In addition, the festivals feature various X Games, a late night acoustic coffeehouse, a prayer tent, a children’s tent, Creation radio, and much more.  Each night ends in a special way as attendees enjoy an intimate communion, beautiful candlelight service, and a spectacular fireworks display.
